ChiBalance
Balance the Chi!
In ChiBalance, your goal is to keep a delicate statistical equilibrium. Red and green Dotkins fall from the sky – and only the green ones are under your control.
🔴 100 red Dotkins fall in a fixed left/right distribution.
🟢 50 green Dotkins fall randomly – but you can steer them left or right while they pass through the green decision zone.
🎯 Your task:
Adjust the placement of the green Dotkins to counterbalance the red ones and minimize the chi-squared value in a 2x2 contingency table.
The fewer deviations from chance, the better your score!
📈 At the end of each round, the game computes the chi-square test for independence – and you’ll level up only if the result is not significant at the 5% level.
How to play:
👉 Tap on the left or right side of the screen while a green Dotkin is in the green zone to steer it
👉 You cannot control red Dotkins – they represent the “given” distribution
👉 Earn more points the smaller the chi-square value is
